Contribuisci feedbackThis restaurant is more of a Showa era style rather than Taisho. There are also "Mayu" and "Yahei" nearby, making it a competitive Chinese restaurant area. There was only one customer when I arrived, probably because it was late. I envied the person drinking beer and having lunch during the day. I carefully looked at the menu while glancing over. Although the noodles looked good, I was hungry so I decided to go for a rice dish. As I looked through the menu, the "Thinly sliced pork sauce over rice for 780 yen" caught my attention. I decided on that. It arrived after about 5 minutes, steaming hot. I took a bite of the rice, which was fluffy and had a nice sweetness and chewiness. The pork was hot but delicious. As I ate, my body temperature rose quickly. The soup was also well-seasoned and I finished it quickly. Next time, I want to try the noodles.
The soy sauce ramen came with finely sliced stir-fried pork, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, and komatsuna. The aroma and crispiness of the komatsuna were excellent. The pork was coated with potato starch or wheat flour, making it smooth and tender. The noodles were medium-thin and straight, cooked slightly on the softer side. The soy sauce broth was refreshing and exactly my favorite type. The restaurant building is made from reclaimed materials, with a sparkling clean wooden floor.
Taisho Roman... You can eat in a calm atmosphere.
