I had the tempura udon with gobou (burdock root). As a service, they also included 'udon' tempura. The noodles were clearly hand-made, soft, thin, and lacking in firmness. The broth was light but flavorful. The oden was priced at 100 yen per item. There was a large shiitake mushroom oden, but it hadn't finished cooking yet so I couldn't try it, which was a shame. The speed of food service slows down during peak times, so it's better to avoid those times. The restaurant was consistently full during lunch hours. I will definitely be back. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take a picture of the main dish, the tempura udon with gobou (crying face).
The broth was amazing. I encountered delicious udon for the first time in a while. My 4-year-old child had the meat udon and kept saying how delicious it was, and finished it all. I promised the owner that we would come back again.
The flavors were a bit mild, but the shrimp tempura udon and burdock tempura udon were delicious. The staff was efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant.
