あっぱれ Shāo Ròu Yuán Qì

I often have lunch by myself at this restaurant. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes and flavors are satisfying. It is unfortunate that they do not accept credit card payments during lunchtime and that prices have increased in recent years (which is understandable due to the pandemic), but the quality of the food remains exceptional. Additionally, after paying the bill, they provide individually wrapped masks that can be used as spare masks, so you can avoid having the smell of grilled meat lingering in your mask after finishing your meal. I appreciate these thoughtful touches.

I visited the restaurant during lunch time on a holiday, shortly after it opened. The parking lot was full and the table seats were already taken, with only a few tatami seats available. I didn't realize it was this popular. Even though the lunch was around 1500 yen, the dishes looked luxurious in terms of quantity and presentation. Not only did they look good, but each dish was indeed well-prepared. Due to the crowds, it took about 30 minutes until our order was taken and the food was served. It's better to visit when you have plenty of time. I wish they could do something about the fast-paced background music that was a bit overwhelming.

I ordered the lunch set. It had a variety of dishes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was very satisfied.
