Restaurante Bar El Muelle

Food poisons God thanks! We live! My daughter and I had a terrible food poison in this restaurant God knows how dirty preparation of food in this kitchen Cero health department monitoring does not live what we had to eat in this place.

I don't often write reviews. The restaurant must be either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. In this case, it's the last. I ordered the Ceviche, it was extremely small for the price and mostly corn. I also ordered a Pina juice that was just colored water. I should have believed the negative reviews. By far the worst restaurant I ate in Cartagena. What a waste of a great place.

Definitely a rip off. Not sure why the taxi driver and Hotel Dann recommend this place. For a sloppy and blend tasting late lunch we paid $70 USD. Funny that the person who sat us said that Hotel Dann called informing them that we were coming so I am sure that they are giving a commission to those who refer this slop house. Please stay away. We just landed and wanted a local place. Boy, what a mistake.

The restaurant is right on the beach. Nice oceanfront views. Not cheap by Cartagena standards, but still a good price compared to American beachfront standards. I initially went for a lunch. The food, drinks, and atmosphere was nice. Busy but not overcrowded. I came back another night for a date night dinner, and it was great. We had a whole grilled snapper for dinner. You can not ask for fresher seafood, as we picked out the fish we were going to have for the meal. There was only a few customers, on the night we came for dinner, so it made for a very private romantic meal. The location is towards the end of the Bocagrande beachfront. Safe to walk around the area day or night.

Estuve el Domingo Día del padre con tres amigos , pedimos cuatro pargos fritos , todos iguales y solo sirvieron tres ⚓️Solo al terminar los compañeros su almuerzo y a pesar de haberlo requerido fuimos informados que no tenían el cuarto pescado . No hubo presencia de la gerencia , ni disculpa o desagravio , eso sí la cuenta incluía el servicio !Es el colmo del descaro !Sus comidas son buenas y el local bonito , lástima que no les interese la satisfacción del cliente . Señor propietario , así se pierde a la clientela
