Mains Of Scotstown Inn - Aberdeen

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. They recently reopened as a cocktail bar, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to have no idea how to make cocktails. We waited around 40 minutes for 3 cocktails and ended up paying close to £30 for them. It would be helpful to have at least one experienced person on staff to train the others, and perhaps they could consider charging a bit less while the staff is still learning. Additionally, the beer selection was limited. It's a shame because the venue is lovely and with a few changes, it could be a fantastic place to spend a sunny afternoon and become a successful establishment.

I was in the area during lunchtime, so I decided to visit this restaurant located up the hill. We were warmly greeted by the staff, and a friendly young lady provided excellent service. The food arrived promptly and was also delicious. However, it was the friendly staff that left the biggest impression on us. Thank you, girls! We will definitely be back again.

The food was excellent, the service top-notch, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

4 of us had meal on Saturday night. Food was excellent. There was plenty on the menu to choose from. Portions were quite big, in fact none of us managed to finish our main courses. Brilliant service and very friendly staff.
