Delicious croissants - just like you get in France and this is not alway easy in Australia! Haven't been for awhile but am sure that it is still great.
This is a chic original two storey heritage ex cottage on the lovely Hutt Street Adelaide. You can't miss it as the speed limit is only 40 KPH. The menu is limited but in saying that it is lovely. It is all French so don't expect the normal breakfast. There are croissants a plenty and my wife had a delicious Almond croissant followed up by another just because she enjoyed it so much. I am a little more diet conscious so I tried a sourdough sandwich with ham, brie and rocket. Toasted just the way I like it, that is slightly, not crunchy brown as so many come out. The coffee was terrific and my wife had a camomile tea in a beautiful little pot complete with cup and saucer. Lovely place to chill and try something extra nice and also at a reasonable price.
Nice little place which is really nice in winter to sit on a cold Sunday afternoon drinking coffee and eating croissants. Nothing is fantastic but nothing is bad either. Good service really pleasant ambiance and food is fine
This French cafe had great coffee and croissants - the upstairs dining area had a light airy feeling and a quaint French feel to it. There isn't an extensive menu but the croissants with a few filling options were delicious.
