I really liked coming here, however the other evening was abysmal. There were three of us one ordered flounder and two ordered lamb shanks. We chose a wine to suit the shanks only to be informed 15 minutes later that they were not available....We reordered and then suffered salads and meals coming out in dribs and drabs for over an hour such that I had finished my salad and meal before my friend's main course even arrived (and I am not a fast eater). His salad never eventuated despite asking for it 3 times. Not only were the staff unapologetic, I felt that they really just didn't care so completely different to my previous experiences there. Sadly I will not be going back after one of the worst restaurant experiences for a long time and the salads were not all that good.
Randomly came across this place when I first got to Adelaide, sat down and had a glass of wine snack and it was just beautiful. The quality of both was wonderful and atmosphere was nice too classy but not pretentious. Highly recommend.
On a beautiful Autumnal night in Adelaide we sat outside and enjoyed a drink, chacuterie and the ambiance of EEC. Service was great, food delicious and fresh. Such a beautiful place to be at.
There is a good variety of wines available from the on-site bottle shop, which can be enjoyed at the bar. The prices are reasonable and it is a great option in the eastern end for a drink and nibble. While I only had some snacks here and did not have dinner, I would recommend eating elsewhere for a more satisfying meal. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy a drink.
