Breakfast in the morning! very good choice, efficient service and delicious food. although set in the station, this has the feeling of an independent restaurant. I wish we had found this for a meal at the evening because the dinner menu looked very good. Beautiful...interior, very good eating excellent!
We lobbed into Agen very late for lunch and this was the only option for us serving lunch. It was fine for what we needed, and the French fries were great!
The meal was good... that's the only good point even if the potatoes fries was disgusting on my plate not on my husband plate , the girls with the red hair and the other one with the blond hair were so direspectful... They...laugh at me ... they dont know how to speak english and only one guy know what I was wanting ... Anyway i will never come again !!! GOODBYE LA Grande Brasserie
We needed to visit the town and I thought of trying this restaurant as I remembered seeing it featured on a Rick Stein travelogue. First of all, the service needs a mention. The service is really excellent: fast, friendly, attentive, informed. The food was also...excellent though I didn’t enjoy my main course. I decided to try Andouillette. I knew it was risky but the only way to find out is to try it. I discovered that I don’t like it but it wouldn’t be fair to mark down the restaurant as I was served with a fine example, beautifully cooked. The restaurant is also connected to the station which serves TGV to Bordeaux, Paris, Marseilles and other cities. I will be trying out the TGV to Paris and Marseilles in the not too distant future and will dine here before boarding. Well spotted Mr Stein...
