Yamato Restaurant - Agoura Hills

I love their Californian roles, dynamite, salmon collars and mixed tempura. Service is excellent.

Sushi was really good, waiting staff was attentive and friendly. On the bottom the menu was sticky and hanging together! The photo is '911 roll on top 'shisimi to the Left' 'spicy tuna on bottom right'

Eating was good, but everything else needs work. Shabby environment, no cold glasses for beer, soup not hot, up and down. It won't be back.

Not the best experience here today. Website not updated with opening hours, and no one answers the phone. Service friendly, but forget. Eating and drinking OK but the workstation surround was badly broken and dirty. Not good for food preparation.

First time patron. The hostess squeezed my party of 5 into a hibachi table, so that was a great start. The chef interacted with us and performed the fire trick for the kids a 2nd time bc it was such a hit the 1st time. Food was tasty, as was my honey bourbon cocktail. The hibiscus ice is a nice touch. I didnt learn until after we left the restaurant that my 2 girls didnt get their main order of shrimp for dinner, but we all had a shrimp app in the beginning. All in all, it was a good experience.
