Contribuisci feedbackMonday 9th November 2015 Food was ok, although expensive for what you got. Two ladies working this day, the younger one was great. Very cheerful and pleasant. The older one was very lazy, sitting on a stool doing absolutley nothing except play with her mobile phone and look angry. The poor younger gal was doing everything, from cleaning the tables to cleaning the bar, while the older one just sat there (while she was supposed to be cooking our food). When the younger girl realized (20 mins waiting in an empty shop) that tbe older girl had forgotten to make our order, she was embarassed and gave us a tin of shortbread to appologise. In my opinion, the older girl didn't deserve a job there.
Our group of 3 adults and 4 kids had a one hour wait for lunch today. The first dish, a burnt pizza, arrived after 40 minutes and was offered to us cost-free, presumably as compensation for the wait. But not after a waiter incorrectly accused us of moving tables and effectively inconveniencing them! The remaining food arrived sporadically over the next 20 minutes, including a plate of burnt nachos. Having waited so long, we were offered a free serve of fries, which not surprisingly, didn't arrive. Very ordinary food and woeful service.
Looks good on the surface but the food took over an hour and a half to arrive at our table and we left without having received all of what we ordered. It was a waste of a drive (all the way from Geelong) and a bad experience.
A must see if you're passing through Airey's Inlet! Even if it's just for a drink (as we did) the decor, lay out and artwork are amazing. You'll feel like you've been sucked into a time warp going all the way back to the 60s in a classic diner!!!
This is a must to stop in at! Great food, great service and great atmosphere! Didn't want to leave! Will be finding a reason to come back here again soon!
