Mackenzie Pub & Restaurant - Ajax

I occasionally enjoy a nice serving of Fish and Chips, and this one was quite satisfying. The meal included two pieces of fish, tasty fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. It was the Friday special at Mackenzie Pub in Ajax for just $12.95. I met up with some old high school friends for this occasion, so having a drink together seemed fitting. I chose to sip on a shot of Appleton Rum with Coke. The service for our group was excellent, which is not always the case at other places I've visited. Our orders were correct, and the staff efficiently cleared away our used plates and glassware. Overall, the service was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. What more could we ask for?

Met friends here for lunch recently. This is a large place and we easily found a small comfortable booth. Staff were very attentive and it wasnt long before we had menu's and drinks. Our food wasn't far behind and came out steaming hot. Great bonus is we didn't feel rushed. Ladies catching up can sometimes take awhile.. and not once did we feel like we needed to finish up. Our food was great and our server was very pleasant. Would definitely try more from the expansive menu

We have been here many times as a family. I hate to say the food quality has gone down in the last year, not sure why.
