Akron House

On a long journey from Canada to the USA we stopped here for lunch. The food was so good! We had Chili Mac and cheese (with smoked Gouda) and the Rachel Sandwich on sourdough. Both were fantastic, especially the smoked Gouda. They also had a good craft beer selection, with about 20 local beers on tap. The EBC chocolate bomb was my personal favorite. They don't make beer flights (pints only), but the bartender lets us taste everything we wanted before we decided to order.

We visited this place on a Friday night. Place was busy, but they sat fast and service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was busy, but hard to work and served us immediately. The food was great and they had a great selection of beers. The decor inside was cool and they had decorated it for autumn/hallowees. We will return.

Excellent bar menu and friendly staff. The menu surprised me when I opened it and it surpassed any expectation. Very recommended.

We are not from the area and have just selected it by location. Well, the bartender was so great, she knew how to ask everything we asked (we are old baby boomers). Then, never expected this from a lonely house, the food was delicious. Had the best pork chops I ever had, the appetizers were great and we were all really happy!!! And finally, the ladies' room was immaculate and beautiful. A very pleasant surprise. We'll go back there someday. H

Went to the ale house with a group of friends and loved it! Skipped appetizers but wasn't too upset because everything was good portions and delicious!. 2 friends split a buffalo chicken pizza and they really liked it, me and my girlfriend had burgers. Loved the sweet and spicy goat cheese burger, whoever thought of goat cheese on a burger knows what's up! Had a bunch of great sounding sandwiches and burgers on the menu, cant wait to try them.
