Woody's Q Shack - Alamosa

Service is incredibly friendly and attentive. Bbq is solid and a big shout out for the Burnt Ends. Brisket was tender and lean. Mac n cheese was good. Original bbq sauce is great. I think the hot could be a bit more..but personal preference. Campfire beans were just okay in my opinion for a bbq joint. A new favorite for my visits to Alamosa.p

Staff and atmosphere were excellent but I paid over a little over 25 bucks for the food (30 with tip) and the tiny portion of ribs I received was dried out, the coleslaw was not to my liking but the Mac and cheese was good. Clean bathrooms, super friendly staff, and I did like the atmosphere but the food was not worth the 25 bucks. Sorry....Not sure how to reply so am adding my reply here.... So my total cost was 30, including tax and tip so I do apologize for that. I did edit my review to correct my mistake. So the cost for my meal with tax (without tip) was a little over 25. 20.50 for the ribs, 3.00 for the soda, tax was 2 bucks. I originally asked for the 2 meat meal but was told ribs weren't an option with that and was offered a rib plate. I was super sad that the ribs were dry, ribs are my favorite food and the whole reason I came. I've only been to your restaurant once and like I said, loved the atmosphere, it was clean and the staff was super friendly and might try it again but can't recommend the ribs based on my experience.

My husband ordered the Carolina sandwich with pulled pork and coleslaw on it. He gave it a 10!! Hands down the best bbq sandwich ever!I ordered a 2 meat with brisket, turkey, mac and fries. The turkey waa so moist and so flavorful! The brisket wasn't as moist as I hoped, but flavor was good! Mac n cheese is verrrrrrry cheesy! The fries flavor was on point, but they were a little hard/raw. Maybe 1 or 2 more minutes cook would be perfect.

Great BBQ joint if you are in Alamosa or passing through. We were on a road trip stopped in and the counter service was fast and delicious. Great sauces!

Great food, good value. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious. If you were in the area again Instead return.
