The breadsticks were fresh and hot, served with a delicious marinara sauce, the pizza was melt in your mouth fresh and delicious. If you're in the area, give this place a try, you won't be sorry.
Having moved from Salem a few score years back. I was convinced Albany had nothing for good pizza parlor pizza (with the exception of the place over the bridge, heading out of town) but it in its self is a different pizza experience all together... I 'm talking about Oregon crust pizza, like the kind you find at Paddington, or Wallerys, both in Salem. Okay Peitros too even though I don 't condone the ladder . I had almost given up on the Albany pizza scene. Seeing all the negative comments prior here on Yelp, I decided to formulate my own opinion. Not only was this the local famous soft but cracker crust me and my ol lady crave, they were spot on with the toppings! We ordered the combination with fresh shrooms. It was so comparable to Paddingtons Humdinger, you could not tell. Service was just meh, but hey we live in (Pademia) times. So, to all you Oregon transplants, and California visitors that don 't appreciate our pizza. I guess you should just stay out of our state? Well done Ciddiccis, we will be back for more! P.S. the prices are great, with a kicker order to a LG pie, you get a free small appetizer! Not necessary, but nice at the same time!
This review was only for a take-out order due to Kate Brown 's Covid Lockdown (coming soon to Nintendo Switch). We got a BBQ chicken pizza which was absolutely amazing. I had four slices and actually uttered out loud, you can tell they care because they drizzled extra BBQ sauce on top . It was very good. I wasn 't crazy about the jojo 's, I 've had better. I will surely revisit this place, especially since I want to support local businesses.
Always go to Ciddici's but not anymore. Pizza was horrible, service was below average and look at the short our server was wearing. Pretty sure the previous owner would have sent her home. Prices are way high for what you get. A pepperoni pizza is now $24. It only cost them about $3.50 to make. Terrible day for sure that I have to say good bye to what I considered the best pizza around. Update, yelp just advised my picture of the server wearing very inappropriate shorts and shirt fell outside of their content guidelines. I say hmmmm to that, it's a family restaurant where the server is dressed inappropriately for her job. It really plays to the atmosphere of the business now. I'm sure the yelp community they speak of is the new ownership as their ratings have dropped. Good luck never again will I give my money this restaurant.
This is quite possibly the best pizza I 've ever had. I thought the pizza seemed expensive when we ordered it...until it arrived! One large pizza could easily feed four reasonably sized adults. Its light, thin, stone cooked crust stayed together well and supported the toppings with ease but still came away easily during a bit and didn 't crumble. Just the right amount of sauce not dripping all over or making your topping slide off but enough to compliment the crust and add a deep, rich flavor. The cheese was super thick. I don 't mean there was a ton of cheese though there was a substantial amount. I mean the cheese itself was a thick, very good quality cheese. It had its own distinct flavor without detracting from the composite. And then the toppings. They were super fresh, plentiful and tasty. They give you 'a free bee ' with every large pizza order which is, in my book, a serious plus! There were six choices, if I remember correctly. Some were salad, breadsticks or a pitcher of soda. The staff were approachable but I wouldn 't say friendly. The wait time was seriously short, I was confused as to how they got the pizza to us so fast. I 'm pretty sure they are employing ninjas in the kitchen. The building is an old train station. I found its stained glass windows enchanting. I really appreciated that they had no music playing which made it easy to have great conversations, contributed to a calm pleasant stay and kept my ears from hurting. They also have an arcade in the back. I appreciated there was no noise coming from the many varied game consoles. The restrooms could definitely use some maintenance and updating but they were clean enough to use. All in all, a wonderful pizza joint I 'd happily eat at again.
