Coffee was watery and overly sweet. (I have iced lavender latte and my friend got the cold brew) tofu burrito was good, a small bland. asked for hot sauce that was mad and made it worse. pretzel donut tasted old, stale and overpriced for what it was worth. good vibes, overpriced eating with half quality. probably not coming back.
Pros: - Great to have vegan options in the area - Good selection of baked goods, drinks, and snacks - Dogs allowed - Participates in "Too Good To Go" to reduce waste - Cool decor Cons: - No free parking - A bit expensive - Donut holes were a little dry and lacked apple pieces that are preferred
I was thrilled to discover a vegan restaurant in the historic district, and Elizabeth's Counter did not disappoint! Despite visiting my hometown periodically over the past 15 years and seeing many new restaurants, I never came across vegan options until now. During my recent visit, I tried their donuts, apple fritter, breakfast burrito, quiche, and coffee. While most vegan donuts I've tried have been mediocre, these exceeded my expectations and were delicious. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!
Delicious pastries and perfectly made coffee drinks! I honestly had no idea it was vegan until I started writing this review. I had no idea, pastries were great. Friendly counter service.
