La Tasca Old Town - Alexandria

I'd recommend reservations, as this spot is quite popular. All of their sangrias are fantastic! If this is your first time, I would recommend the La Tasca Tour, which is 9 small plate tapas for two served in three rounds it's a perfect amount of food (you'll be full! and a perfect representation of all their menu offerings. They served some of the best calamari I've ever had and their lamb pops are great. They pace the good perfectly so you're never rushed but never left wanting between courses, either. The service is great and all of the plates were delicious.

This place is always awesome! The happy hour at the bar and the brunch are great deals! Bacon wrapped dates, and the fried eggplant chips are my favorite! I would also like to add that the staff is amazing, always explaining things when people have questions.

Love this place, great tapas, best paella we ever had! Milan is the best!
