Iron Duke Hotel - Alexandria

We had our office x-mass party lunch here.The place is simple, clean and with super friendly staff.Menu was simple, straight forward but food was lovely. I had Barramundi and other people had Stake and Lamb, all said it was fantastic. This is on the busy Botany Road but inside was quite and cool. It was a rainy day so we were inside; otherwise shady outside is lovely to enjoy a drink.Iron Duke is highly recommended if you are in the Alexandria or Green Square area.

Mid priced good fresh food for a local pub, better than fast food across the street and modern clean interior, friendly staff always, have had lunches and dinners there many times it is local

This is my local after work spot with friends. Good outdoor seating area and a decent schnitty. The bar staff is friendly but not the fastest. It's an after work pub that is reliable.

Attended for a business lunch meeting, ordering on arrival. 45 minutes into our meeting we asked where our meals were as fellow customers that arrived after us were served. After being told it would be another 20 minutes we waited. Upon asking after 20 minutes how it was going we were told 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we asked for our money back and ended up at maccas. It wasn't overly busy and the attitude and lack of care shown by the staff was deplorable.

Great for a casual pub lunch . Love the chicken tenders , it's almost all I ever order now. Salads are great too. Friendly service each time. Great outside area for sunny lunch days
