I loved eating and the friendly prices so much I came here three times. they will not go wrong with the usual favorites like khachapuri, khinkali, kharcho, pkhali, and even the hashlik. they can also take fresh Georgian brot. no English menu or English-language personal, but they would point to the pictures.
Nice Georgian food for moderate price. I do not recommend to order grilled vegetables. They are fried and too much oily! Ask which dishes are served quickly if you are in hurry, since some of them requests 20-30min to be prepared (though staff say 15min)
Since our last visit four years ago there is definitely a decline in both food and service. I always take into account locally accepted standards of service and the establishment's status and build my expectations accordingly. But I see no excuse when an agitated waiter approaches you without introducing himself or saying hello and simply stares at you without asking what you want to order. Seriously, what did I do to you? I'm glad that another staff member served our food and we have never seen that guy again. It took an unreasonable time to serve the food. What was supposed to be a quick lunch ended up taking well over an hour. Some dishes were okay, but spinach pkhali (Georgian vegetable pate) came with a gritty feeling on the teeth. I guess someone didn't bother to wash spinach well. Very disappointing. We used to come here a lot during our previous visit, but I think we are done here as there are better Georgian restaurants around.
The food is good but not excellent. But the price is expensive for its value. The table is not comfortable and too narrow to walk to sit in. We came during lunchtime in July, and it was really hot here, their aircon is not strong enough for the whole restaurant. The staffs are friendly and helpful, though. In short, with the same money, there are many better restaurants around and only a few minutes walking.
Service is very slow and food is ok. Nothing special; kebab was cold and lule kebab was tasleless. No one approaches you and we had to wait 20 minutes for shashlik sauces.
