My husband and I first found this cafe a few weeks ago, and just had coffee. When we visited Almería again last week, we were determined to return. We had a nice lunch there; smoked salmon avocado roll, ham and eggs with a tomato tostada, and tortilla with alioli. We were determined to try the cakes, and the only problem was trying to decide which ones to choose. Eventually chose a chocolate brownie (which came warm) and a Mille feuille. Also bought an apple tart to take home for later! The serving staff were lovely and very helpful. We look forward to returning again soon.
We stumbled upon this cafe when walking down the main street in Almeria one morning, looking for a random place it pop in for a quick breakfast. We were lucky enough to come across this little gem, nestled under a building in an unassuming corner. The service, baked goods, and cakes are impeccable! Will definitely recommend other people to come here. I 'm not sure if the staff speaks/understands English, but with my very broken Spanish I 've managed to order breakfast without any issue. The waitress is also extremely nice and patient despite me murdering her mother tongue, so I 'm very grateful for that : We paid 6.45EUR for two half-toasts (you must try their tostadas con atun , i.e. toasts with tuna , and a coffee and a tea. Very reasonable price I 'd say!
