The drinks were also reasonably priced. Overall, it was an excellent local spot for a tasty meal and enjoyable conversation with friends.
We went to the restaurant on 'parma night' with a group of five and were all pleased with both the meals and service. As someone with gluten intolerance, I was happy to have many options to choose from and will definitely be returning.
The restaurant here is very good, the house wine is good and very reasonably priced, I don't think we have ever come away disappointed in the food. The prices are a little high for the venue but if you choose carefully you can find something in your price range. I think their charge for bringing a birthday cake is a bit cheeky, especially if there is a large number of family celebrating a members birthday. It just seems a little churlish. Before the latest take over it had a great family feeling. The big stand out at this venue is the staff, they make the place.
We had a great night at this venue for the Normie Rowe ShowThe three course dinner that was brought out was of a very good standard which satisfied our group. The caterers have done a very good of putting on a good set menu of tasty food. The show was execellent with almost full venue. One down point was their booking system to get into this show. If they get this fixed they would have filled the venue.Meals overall at this place since the new caterers are of generally very good standard.Worth a try .
I meet friends there each fortnight for dinner, usually have steak, had a couple of good steaks but on the last 3 occasions steak was like shoe leather and cold, chips cold, staff don't appear to care much when you complain. Our friends also complained about cold vegetables, another friend ordered sticky date pudding and after a while asked where it was and was told we ran out of them an hour ago.
