I stopped by for lunch and ordered General Tso Chicken along with hot and sour soup. The food was fresh, served hot, and most importantly, it was absolutely delicious!
Amazing food! No disrespect to the other reviewer, but I've dined there numerous times and have genuinely enjoyed every meal. My kids are fans as well!!!
1. Be careful about being overcharged; it's a common issue here. 2. The staff may talk about you as if you aren't there. I have studied abroad and understand enough of the language to notice that they often express their discontent with my special requests, making unkind comments about my weight (for context, I’m 6’3” and weigh 230 pounds). 3. If you have any special requests for your meal, don't expect them to be accommodated; they often go unaddressed. Despite these concerns, I have been a faithful customer for years because I truly enjoy their food. However, that may soon change. I have a moderate allergy to one of their ingredients that causes hives, which has been manageable but is worsening. They continue to include it in my meals, despite my requests for it to be omitted. Recently, I discovered Number One Chinese on the boulevard, and their food is just as delicious as Best Food in Town, without the hassle of managing my allergy. I recommend the food, but if you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, be sure to confirm that your allergen is excluded before leaving the restaurant.
