Owls Roost Cafe - Altus

It is a little hole in the wall diner, ran by an amazing lady that is busy but super friendly!!!! Food is great, environment is super owl themed but very homey and familiar feeling!!! Love this place!!!!

I've eaten here for years, both with the present owner and the previous. They are known for their GREAT burgers, fries and tots. Recently I began ordering a Taco Salad at Owl"s Roost. Now that is my very #1 favorite thing! Shannon, the owner, will make it just like you want and it is DELICIOUS! It's bigger and less expensive than a salad from anywhere around!The building is small and now, during COVID 19, it's best not to be in close places. Just call your order in, pick it up for a picnic or to take home. They'll have your order at the sliding window. You don't even have to go in.

It was the perfect place for lunch while out exploring Ozark and Altus. The ladies working there were extremely pleasant and had a few great suggestions for us to see before we headed home. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be paying them another visit.

Old school dining experience, friendly service, food was served on time and hot. Best hometown burger in the area so juicy it runs down your arms. Be prepared to use lots of napkins!!!!! Prices are way cheaper than what you would pay anywhere else . Fancy restaurant quality food at cheap prices!!!!!

Everything on the menu is made to order and amazing. I have never been disappointed eating here. The portions are very generous and the quality of food is comparable to Michelin star restaurants. The restaurant is charming, cozy and clean. The prices are unbeatable. Don't miss out on this place.
