Restaurante Windsurf Praia de Alvor

My man and I have visited this restaurant for several years with absolute complaints (see previous reviews) however this was our first visit by covid. we stood and waited to be acknowledged and sitting, there were no other customers sitting, standing and standing, while the workers were watching us and continuing to talk, unnecessary to say, we went out and went elsewhere. I'm really not sure what happened to this restaurant, the reviews seem to have a running thema, it's very disappointing as this was a fabulous wee restaurant at a time.

First time back in eighteen months but nothing had changed. We had the monkfish kebab and the sardines -absolutely delicious.

A big, nice little piece ordered, it came completely raw. waiter and manager then tried to accuse us and said we should have said earlier. didn't make any difference because I didn't eat anything. such a scandal that they have ruined such a nice, cosily piece of laugh. deteriorated from bad service.

Booked a table for 8 watches, very rudely ignored us for 50 minutes then finally came with posture and asked us what we wanted. we decided to go on this point. the restaurant was not even busy and they seemed to reserve all the others, but to us . not sure when it was because we were English and were all Portuguese. to read from other commentary it seems to be recurring. can not comment on eating because we don't drink or drink. I've been with alvor many times and have never experienced anything like that. the other restaurants were so friendly and welcoming. we were as shocked as they were rude.

We were in a local hotel and that was eating you. we drove up the boardwalk along the beach and found this little place. we were as happy as eating was fantastic, there is a gent here that seems to lead the place and when they watch him prepare as tables and his love to clarify detail is amazing. even clean the decking under the tables, the bambus mat on the table and of course everything else. even the placement of the table setting was carried out with care. in one of our visits, a customer suffered a bit under the sun at the arm, who went to the nest and got another section of the sunshade and tied him carefully so that they would not have sun on their poor. great! the seafoods were divine and I must admit to having a spaghetti blognone a time or two ( visited several times) and that was as good as anyone I had in rom. the garlic bread was world class. crunchy with a tonne garlic. amazing location
