Lovely Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurant. Food was wonderful and included vegan dishes. The options to have vegetable or meat combinations for one or two offered a way to try a few different dishes. The after meal coffee that was roasted, made, and served the traditional way was really a treat. There was also a shop to buy Ethiopian spices, teas, beans, etc. and clay pots for preparing and serving food. Service was friendly, decor was cozy and homey.Vegetarian options: Lots of good, tasty vegetarian dishes
Vegans, plant based consumers and Vegetarians this is a must stop when traveling through or to Amarillo/Panhandle region.Amarillo is lucky to have such a wonderful market and restaurant serving North African food. Don't forget to stock up on dry goods, spices, flours and dried beans imported from Ethiopia.
Outstanding vegetarian food. My wife and I had Sunday dinner here and was not disappointed.
If you like Ethiopian food, you must visit. If you've never tried it, now is the time.
