When I show up in an airport at 6 AM for a flight I never expected food to be palatable or even present. This airport was a exception to the rule. I ordered one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The muffin was perfectly cooked slightly Chris, the egg was fresh peppered and perfectly salted and the sausage patty was tasty. The friendly service was fantastic and I walk out of that airport and all of my flight with a smile on my face
Imagine a place that doesn't worry about customer service or timeliness due to being the only option. Amarillo Airport take a hint and get a business that cares about your customers.
The food at this restaurant is decent, but the process of ordering can be a challenge. It took a while to get service as the bartender was busy talking to other patrons. When I finally asked for a menu, I was directed to a screen on the wall with a glare from the lights making it hard to read. I had to walk over to see the descriptions of the food, which were too small to read from afar. When I asked about the ingredients of the burrito, I was told to walk over to the front of the stand. I had to carry all my belongings and drink with me because I couldn't leave them at the bar. Ordering was also inconvenient, as I had to go over to the register to place my order because the bartender didn't want to yell across the bar. Overall, I believe the restaurant could make the experience easier for customers in many ways.
Sat down to order a drink... chose a **** Mary. After charging me $15 Myra pulled out her phone to google How to make a **** Mary . She stated this and margaritas are the only two drinks she doesn 't know how to make. Researched for about 10 minutes and finally walked across the hall to ask the lady working the souvenir shop to teach her how to make one of the most basic drinks. Less than one shot of vodka was poured into my drink due to that being all the vodka they had. At least offer me a different drink....Needless to say I will not be back for a $15 cup of tomato juice that took an hour to make. This review is not a reflection on the lack of knowledge the employee had, but the lack of training the management had given this employee. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!! This is the front line representation of your brand and company. Do better!
