The Ambleside Inn

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I placed an order through Just Eat at 6:25 PM, and it's now 9:10 PM with no food in sight. I called the establishment twice; the first time they hung up on me, and the second time I was told they tried to call me, which was untrue. It's been nearly three hours since I placed my order, and I'm still waiting.

I've been visiting this restaurant for several years and have never been disappointed. A nice added benefit is that you can save a lot of money by bringing your own drinks, and the Co-op nearby offers affordable options. It's a great way to cap off the evening at the Wetherspoons just down the road.

I went there to watch a game. It was fine for me, but I wouldn't consider it a nice place to take my wife. Sorry, but I probably won't be returning anytime soon.
