I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The cleanliness is lacking, and I noticed questionable grey meats in aisle 5 that seem to have been there far too long without being discarded. There were also instances of expired products in the hot case, which I suspect is due to the new owners refusing to remove them. Additionally, I found re-frozen ice cream, and the freezers were repeatedly being turned off and on when they shouldn't have been. This led to moisture buildup on the mirrors above the meat section in aisle 5. To make matters worse, the refrigerator next to the hot case had relabeled expiration dates. I purchased an egg sandwich that was a week past its expiration date, yet the label had been altered. Overall, the food safety practices here are concerning.

The restaurant is very unclean, and the food in the hot case is often expired and has been re-stickered. Additionally, the produce is not fresh.

This restaurant feels more like an overpriced, oversized convenience store. It's certainly not a place for doing any serious grocery shopping. The establishment changed hands a few years back, and it seems to have gone downhill since then. Unfortunately, many locals have stopped visiting altogether.

The location is convenient, but it can be pricey. There is a decent selection of products, which often saves us from making the trip all the way to Battle Ground, making it worth the cost. There’s rarely a line, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I was grocery shopping at Amboy Market today, and I noticed a significant pricing issue at checkout. Two identical products had very different prices—one rang up at $10, which was the correct price, while the other showed $17. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the owner asked to see the price on the shelf. I pointed out that it was indeed marked at $10. However, she took the product down, returned to the register, and charged both items at the $17 price. I reiterated that the price should have been $10, to which she responded in her broken English, "They’ve been here a long time. Too cheap! Nobody changes. Please watch your receipts."
