It was great!! Best pizzas I've ever had. Very impressive watching the cook bake the pizzas in the clay kiln. Very friendly staff!!
Last Friday, my wife and I embarked on a quest to find the hidden gem that is Azulea restaurant. We wanted a romantic dinner away from the touristy spots, and it was quite the adventure. Upon arrival, finding the entrance felt like solving a puzzle. The restaurant is nestled on the left side of the building. Pay close attention to the tiny signs for directions. Inside, you find yourself in a hotel and need to locate the elevator, which takes you to the 4th (or is it 5th? floor. The confusion was real. Once we reached our destination, we encountered another riddle. Signs pointed to both Napoli Pizza e Pasta on the left and Azulea on the right. We initially veered to the right, but it led to a dead end. Frustrated and almost ready to leave, we decided to double-check the signs. The elevator instructions said restaurant on the 4th floor, but the room signs read 5th floor. It was baffling. With persistence, we discovered a closed door for the pizza restaurant, and beyond it, a terrace with a view of Cabo. It was dark, and the employees were having dinner. We mustered the courage to ask if they were open. They said yes, turned on the lights, and the mystery began to unravel. Our confusion was finally resolved as we realized that Azulea shares the space with Napoli Pizza e Pasta. Two restaurants in one place – now it was clear. We settled in, ordered drinks, and chose our dishes. My wife went for the Fettuccine Alfredo, and I opted for the Prosciutto pizza. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the prices reasonable. To our surprise, Paul, the owner, came over for a chat, and we had a delightful conversation. A great personal touch! When we left, we encountered another challenge – it was pitch dark outside. A few exterior lights would be a welcome addition. Also, watch your step as the stairs and sidewalk don 't quite meet the usual standards. In the end, we highly recommend this place. The adventure to find it was part of the experience, and the fantastic food, service, and the view of Cabo made it all worthwhile. Don 't miss it if you 're in the area! #AzuleaRestaurant #CaboDining
