I'm sure her Italian food is great too, but I come for some of the only Czech foods in California. Reminds me of children's dishes and the service is always friendly, affordable prices and plentiful parking. Take me back to Orange County.
The place is behind Chase Bank. There are many parking spaces. There are two large tables for parties of 6 . The owner's wife warmly welcomed at the door. I ordered the baked bread and sweet and spicy fillet mignon. The house bread and butter were delicious. It came with two guys. The fried bread $2.99) was melted in your mouth. She explained how to eat with fresh garlic. It was very good. The Filet Mignon was a big part. The bag was tender but well made and Drench in a sweet bbq like sauce. Although I ordered medium, it was not spicy and more like very mild. I am not sure if she asked the medium after the beef or the spicy level. The potato wedges were so hot and crispy that I burned my tongue. It was good to immerse it in the sauce. Too bad I had no place for dessert or beer. I will definitely try the other options again.
Great Czech food. Was in Prague last year amd google found this place so I went to check it. Was very happy and will take my friends there to try.
Wife (Czech) and I had the svíčková and our friend had the vepřo-knedlo-zelo and we had a couple plates of chlebíčky a couple pilsners each, and some apple strudel to finish it off. Authentic enough to make my wife cry. Highly recommended and will be back again!
