Olive Garden Italian - Anchorage

I recently went to Olive Garden near Dimond. This is the first time the food was the worst I’ve ever had . I ordered the shrimp onion vegetable appetizer it was salty. The salad which has always been my favorite was filled with so much salad dressing it tasted tarty and the lettuce was wilted fro being drowned in salad dressing. I ordered the Alfredo’s with broccoli it was bland , even with the cheese it has no flavor at all. I was able to have two of the take home meals the ziti and today my friend ate it and his response was it was bland and no favor. That was the last time I’ll ever eat at Olive Garden I am so disappointed I live in the village and when I go to anchorage I’m trying to have a nice meal this was the worst I’ve had in years. Get it together Olive Garden and teach your waitress how to make the salad without soaking the lettuce

We chose Olive Garden for familiarity with the product line. I know it 's a chain and not authentic home style Italian food, so there is no need to comment on that. However, I am uploading a photo of the fettuccine from the lunch menu, and the photo shows the fork on the plate so you can understand the size of the portion a meager amount for the $11+ that was charged. I am well familiar with the Alaska price on everything, but this is beyond the pale. We will not be going back.

Other than very poor customer service and hair in the Food and the filthy floor at least the bathroom was very clean and well stocked Cook not wearing a Hairnet and you have the nerve to be a Italian Restaurant at least that Korean restaurant down the road don't serve you hair in their food

The food was flavorful and, when combined with the all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks, even the lunch sized entrees are adequate to fill you up.

Had dinner with our family of 5. The staff were friendly, food portions were large, and the best part were the soft and warm breadsticks. Sangria was excellent. Fettuccini was delicious. The only items I didn’t care for were the dessert selection. saA
