Pita Pit - Anchorage

Bought a sandwich on a Sunday afternoon and wondered if I had made a mistake and walked into a morgue. An employee was at the front counter, she glanced at me I said hi and was ignored. I stood by the register where one orders for a while then walked over to her and asked if there was someone who can help. A gentleman came out of the back to take my order, the food was great. I wondered if they were both having a bad day, like we all do on occasion. Oh, the “open” sign out front was turned off and parking was empty of vehicles at first I thought they were closed. Fast forward to the next day, the service was fantastic and the food was great. I did not give five stars because of the last visit.

Pretty tasty food each time I've been there. A tad pricey and the service can be hit and miss, but not inconsistent with a fast food style restaurant. Overall would recommend for a casual and tasty meal

Friendly service, tasty food. Order your pita and stuff it with all kinds of delicious spreads and veggies that are included in the price of your pita. Great Deal! The staff was super nice and we got our food right away.

Added a surcharge for using a debit card. I know businesses do this to save money. This business model works fine if your customers are one timers. But it’s also an effective way to get locals like me to not come back. Too bad, I was a loyal customer, but there are plenty of other options
