Stonewood Tavern - Andover

If you are reading this chances are you are wondering if it’s worth the trip, and if the food is any good. The answer is yes! The service and attention was that of a five star restaurant. Our waitress was super helpful, respectful and accommodating. The night started of with a few pieces of fresh focaccia bread infused with Italian seasoning and moist with just the perfect amount of olive oil. We ordered a classic pizza for the table. It was one of the best pies I have had in a very long time. It was well seasoned with a tarty semi sweet tomato sauce that was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of cheese and a flavorful crust. My wife ordered the short rib grilled cheese and I order a bacon cheeseburger that we both split. Both were served with French fries. The short rib grill cheese was so juicy, tender, and flavorful served on thick toasty but soft pieces of bread. My mouth is still watering thinking about. The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection with a bit of a smoky taste that out classes most cheeseburgers I’ve had at other restaurants. The fries, holy cow! They taste like gourmet McDonald’s fries. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed a flight of beers to accompany my meal and I was in absolute heaven.

Have only been there twice so far. Both times the food was amazing. The seafood risotto was awesome. The Stonewood Tavern will be a regular go to. I highly recommend.

The waitress at StoneWood welcomed us with a huge smile, and a very positive attitude. The seating area was very clean and we were served with a basket of bread, and two glasses of water. The water was very high quality, therefore I knew the food was going to be good… which it was : . The prices were reasonable with appropriate proportions. The alcoholic drinks were tasteful and effective!! (Try em They have an actual brick oven for pizza and the sauces they use are of high quality/ quite tasteful. The food in general was all high quality and I definitely would come again.

Stonewood Tavern catered our wedding, and we could not have been more pleased. Andy was there to be sure everything was set up properly, the servers were courteous and friendly, and the food well, it was as though Stonewood had moved their kitchen to our wedding reception venue. We would not hesitate at all in highly recommending Stonewood Tavern for your next catered event. You will not be disappointed.

Went here for a corporate dinner. Service was great for our group. The food was good but I wish I had gotten the penne a la vodka than the flank steak. The flank steak wasn't what I thought but im from out of town. I loved the roasted beets appetizer, but others didn't in my group. (I'm a big beet lover).
