Chez Gaston Gaufres Glaces - Annecy

This shop was a haven! There were no ice cream shops open late this evening (possibly due to earlier rain) and we really wanted dessert. We stumbled across this place round the corner from our hotel and it did not disappoint! I had a waffle with chocolate sauce and whipped cream and it was DELICIOUS! The young woman in the shop told us we would be the last customers she would be serving but she didn’t rush us at all she was very sweet with excellent English. Great service, great waffle very happy customer.

Ideally located 3 minutes from the lake, you buy salted waffles, in addition to the famous ice scents. an original idea for a picnic on the lake.

Waffles are super gourmet and the service is very nice despite the lack of clarity. small suggestion: add tea to the drinks menu in winter!

Friendly and efficient waitress. That's all the waffle left and that's what we came to look for, so we didn't expect better. We just ordered salted waffles and the filling fits the descriptive. the proposed formulas did not seem especially interesting (limited choice), but good it is necessary for all tastes and desires. It's street food, no gastronomy, gaston's doing the job and then that's it.
