The food wasn't bad and the staff were very friendly. Don't hold it against me, but understand that I know what I know. The food prep practices used in the kitchen will be communicated throughout a restaurant, whether good or bad. If a restaurant has a filthy bathroom or dirty floors in the dining area, you'd better believe that the kitchen is also the same. Sanitary care (or lack thereof) doesn't magically improver at the threshold to the kitchen. Keep this in mind when you visit the restroom at any food establishment. Thanks for making lunch, I appreciate the meal. Please do clean your bathroom though, as it's making some of us continue on down the road.
Since I've been back from California, the one thing that I have missed is good authentic ethnic foods. Sure there are plenty of mexican restaurants around, but none had that authentic flavor and menu that I was looking for. Until now. There have been at least 2 or 3 other restaurants in this location, but none lasted long. I have very high hopes for Cancun though. The food is super fresh and authentic to the taste. (it's the only place I've found where I can get carnitas, carne asada, chorizo, and even fish tacos! The staff is very friendly, and the environment is welcoming and comfortable. The place fills up fast and stays busy during the day. We hit it lucky and arrived just before the noon rush. The chips and salsa are home made, and so are the tortillas. I had the carne asada plate, and oh my goodness. It was just what I had been missing. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, and everything was cooked wonderfully. I'm definitely going to be going here as often as possible!
Good food and service best in town so far. Ask for Brandi to serve you she is all smiles friendly conversation and please TIP her extra she can let you know about the city and suggest things to going on.
This place is outstanding! Service is fast and friendly, salsa is decent, and the pollo bandido is delicious. It's chicken served in a melted cheese sauce with tortillas on the side. They'll let you substitute steak for chicken if you want. Love the beans, too.
Very good Mexican food, a great place to meet others for business lunches and not to mention the polite staff who care about customer service!
