Wish that was the worst thing but all of this food was clearly reheated in an industrial microwave and is days old it HAS to be non-consumable literally the biggest waste of money ever. I can?t believe that they are selling these things to people. How are they passing these giant weeks old Boba?s off as edible food look how disgusting!!!!!!
One of my favorite mom and pop shops for take out. The owners are super friendly, and welcoming; the food is always on point! Everything is super flavorful, and delicious! If you need a quick snack to-go, the bbq pork bun is a must... that?s if you?re lucky if there are any left. The Milky bun is also a great treat.
A bit of everything from the restaurant and bakery. Everything was a great tasting. The owners are also incredibly friendly. I don't think it took us so long to try it. We'll be back soon.
Their fried noodles got the wok hei going on, that complex charred aroma that 's a level above umami. Tried the Singapore Rice Noodle with Chicken $10.95) which tasted just like mama 's cooking and the Mee Goreng $10.95) which had an impressive wok hei to it. The Mee Goreng is a little spicy on its own. No Dine-In available for now. Wish they had more toppings in their noodle dishes. I was given three very overcooked slices of chicken breast meat in the rice noodle. Overall would try other dishes. Expect a wait on weekends since it can get busy.
I have been searching for a place in the suburbs near where we live that serves mee goreng and laksa. If you are looking for a place with some good Southeast Asian food, I would highly recommend Satay 2 Go. The people running the restaurant were extremely nice and the food was amazing. I am a huge fan of fried noodles mee goreng is one of my favorites and my girlfriend really wanted to try Laksa. The mee goreng had a lot of really great flavors and one of the things I enjoyed the most is the texture of the noodles. It sounds silly, but you'll be surprised how often you get really oily and soggy fried noodles. If you can handle the heat, I suggest adding a little bit of their chili oil as well. The portion of fried noodles was also quite large! The laksa was very good. There's something incredibly heartwarming about a bowl of laksa on a cooler day like today, it reminds me of some of the soups I would have growing up. At prior places that I have had laksa, sometimes there is a bit too much coconut milk to mask the flavor of the paste. But that was not the case here. You have sold us on Satay 2 Go, we will be repeat customers from now on! : . Next time I really want to try the BBQ pork buns and some of the other baked goods there... I was a bit too late and a lot of the stuff was already gone : .
