We were ordered the langoustine only to be informed they were off the menu as they had a special on with the Lobster instead so we went with that and it was lovely and so was the soda bread which came with it. The wine is reasonably priced too. Deserts were great too I has vanilla panna cotta with pink apple compote and my partner had Amaretto Affogato, both were delicious. We asked if we could eat our deserts in. the bar at the back instead of the cafe/restaurant area and got a yes o course Staff were friendly and helpfu land reminded us about when the last ferry off the island back to Ellenabeich was too. Definately wowill come back here and you get value for money even with adding on the cost of the short ferry ride which was £2.50 per passenger. Please note the ferry is for foot passengers only you can park your car up in Ellenabeich
This restaurant is a charming spot with delicious, homemade food. The fish goujon sandwich was especially fantastic. The customer service was top-notch, with the chef even apologizing for a slight wait. However, it was not a problem at all. Enjoying a beer in the sunshine while waiting made for a perfect experience. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area and a decent-sized indoor dining space. The menu is small but offers something for everyone. The soup was incredibly tasty, and we enjoyed it so much that we ended up taking sandwiches home for dinner. The staff was very accommodating in packing them for us to enjoy later. We look forward to visiting the pub next time. We received a warm welcome and had a great experience overall.
On a visit to Easdale Island today which is beautiful. We came across the Puffer Bar Restaurant which wasn’t open on last visit. We decided to have lunch there and what a gem of a place it is. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the menu was an interesting mix. They also have a bar service and I was able to enjoy a lunch time pint of Fyne Ale. If you are in the Oban area then I recommend a drive down to Seil Island and Easdale crossing the Bridge over the Atlantic Ocean on the way getting the boat over to the island have a good walk and enjoy a leisurely lunch there.
What a delicious lunch! Great selection of interesting options on the menu. I had the venison salami toastie, so tasty. Great options for vegans too. Friendly staff. Will definitely make time to eat there again when we next visit the island.
