The lady at the front desk just seems like she has a really bad attitude wi the all the customers i work in the shopping center and walked over to just grab a drink since i work 12 hours today i deal w customers all day and i know how to talk to them without being rude even when i'm being screamed at. i just think that they might need to evaluate who they have at the front desk or at least have them work on their people skills if they are gonna have them talking to people disrespetful just because i need to use card instead of cash there is jus ways to talk to people and this was not it
Great food, fast, warm and friendly atmosphere! What's not to like.
So I decided to try someplace different tonight, and it WAS different. I ordered wonton egg drop soup and beef with snow peas. I hate to report that this was the most bland, tasteless Chinese carryout I have ever tasted. Maybe I have covid. I'll go get tested, but this food was as bland as could be. A huge disappointment. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
Chicken neck meat. First time I’ve eaten here and I ordered the chicken lo mein combo, cream cheese wontons and egg drop soup. When I opened the bag at home I realized I didn’t receive the soup. I decided to try the food before I called to see if I had left it there by accident. The “chicken” in the chicken lo mein is gelatinous, fatty, small pieces that did not taste like any chicken I’ve ever had. I immediately called the restaurant to inquire about my soup and what sort of chicken they used in the noodles. This is the first time in my life I’ve called to ask a restaurant that. I get that other cultures or places use different cuts of meat, many unusual or barely used, but I genuinely have never had this before and I’m grateful for that. It was horrible. The woman who answered was nice and she simply forgot my soup so at least I didn’t get charged. No big deal, I can do without. But this chicken all through my noodles that I’ve waited a month to eat on my cheat day? It’s chicken neck meat apparently. You have to request white meat. Sigh. I picked out as much as I could and dug in. The noodles and pork fried rice have a charred, high heat, grilled flavor that was pretty good. That’s...really the only thing that’s different from any other Chinese take out place I’ve been too. The wontons were crispy but they were also chewy, like they were quickly refried after sitting out for a few hours. The “crab” cream cheese filling was almost nonexistent, but what little was in there was standard tasting. The sweet and sour sauce was good, I’ve tried some places where they messed it up (how..? , but this place was ok. The egg roll was extra crispy, which I actually liked because of the crunch, but it was also standard fare. I knew going in that I would probably be getting basic Chinese takeout, but the chicken neck meat ruined the meal for me. The charred flavor on the rice and noodles brought it up from two to three stars. If my fortune cookie is stale then I will downgrade later to a two. That’s a deal breaker. Also? Ask for chopsticks. They don’t come in the bag automatically.
