I was there on September 23, 2019 a beautiful, peaceful place to eat delicious home cooked meals. Decor features some very lovely antique furniture, and the staff seem like family warm and friendly. Prices are reasonable. After my meal, I wandered around out back to see the old log buildings with neat old stuff inside. Definitely worth stopping in!
I still remember one of the best burgers I've had in this place a few years ago. The owners are nice. Too bad I live far away, haven't had the chance to visit Ashcroft since.
Lovely on the outside. Tried to stopped by but it looks like they are closed Sunday.
We used to stop in here for lunch on our Bus Tours. I will add pic's on my next visit. The dining room is quite nice. Holds about 45-50 people tops. We always had the Chicken Pot Pie, so i really don't know what the regular menu consists of. The old house in front of the restaurant, is now a Gift Shop, but the original decor is still intact. And I think you can go upstairs. This roadhouse was a very important part of the Interior Gold Rush Trail, of 1860. there is also a very good Museum in Ashcroft . also there is a very good farm called Desert Hills , not to be missed Hat Creek Ranch , is just to the north of Ashcroft/Cache Creek
