So me and my husband made the mistake of wanting to have dinner at P and J's diner yesterday evening and the waitress was huffy acting and pushy when I asked if I could have a few more moments to decide what I wanted to eat...now to that my husband got a bar-b-cue plate and I got what was supposed to be chicken casserole with creamed potatoes with white slaw and rolls...let me start with it was the most nasty food I've ever put in my mouth...my original order of potatoes was covered in beef gravy that was gross so I asked for potatoes with no gravy and when I finally got to to eat my food it was horrible the casserole was cold even when it arrived at our table and it tasted like wet cardboard mush ....it was by far the nastiest food I've ever had the displeasure of trying to eat...the only things I could bring myself to eat was the slaw and the correct order of potatoes without the gravy and my rolls and my husband's plate wasn't any better!! I can assure you that we'll never go back because the food Is horribly nasty and the attitude of the waitress wasn't much better....the best thing that could happen to this business is for it to go under new management and hopefully get someone in there that cares about the quality of the food that they're serving because honestly we didn't even try and feed that mess to our dog! Save your money and go somewhere else to get a decent meal because you won't get one here!!

Top Notch! Service was great! Food was excellent! I was there today with 14 people from the retirement community I work at in Greensboro-every single one enjoyed their meal. When you walk in a place and see a lot of senior citizens, workers, and first responders you know it’s going to be good. They did not disappoint! I had chicken -n- dumplings, Mac n cheese okra and cornbread. Delicious!

Food was Fantastic. Dessert was So Good. LARGE PORTIONS. My friends and I plan on going back on different days to try all the daily specials. The employees were so helpful. We never ran put of drink. Had room for my walker on wheels. Bathroom access NO PROBLEM. LOTS OF PARKING. THEY LET ME LEAVE CAR THERE FOR COUPLE HOURS so I could ride with friend to our bereaved friends home. They even suggested food to take them. So Very Helpful. Parking on all sides. We will be returning with friends.

Always amazing! Great little local resturant. Great for just 2 or the family or the entire family... food is great and service is always A1!
