Attitude and slow service every time. My wife and I have been here several times as it is a very nostalgic place for her, but each time we come, it's been nothing but a disappointment with service. It takes 30-40 minutes to make milkshakes that require more than 1 ingredient/flavor. Poorly organized.
My family and I moved to Ashville, Ohio 5 months ago, and have spent a lot of time finding places to eat. First we have only good things to say about every experience at every place that we have gone to. Dollar General, Blades Pizza, IGA, Sunoco/Subway all right here in town. But the people and the food at the Dairy Diamond as we call it is head and shoulders above most places that I have had the joy of being a patronage of (not just here in town but any place I have ever been in the country. I am a thirty year restaurant employee, and yes better then the restaurants that I have managed and even owned. They are always super nice no matter who helps you. The wings, and pizza to me are awesome. But during this time of hardship(covert19 pandemic) these people give out lunches free of charge, to any kids who are hungry. I Pastor a church in Columbus, and we haven't embodied the spirit of help as these people have. I know that times like this is where Real humanity is proven. My prayers are with this company and I will always support them..
Good ice cream and good food! Love the funnel cake fries. Does take longer than a fast food restaurant so consider calling ahead.
Was in Ashville for a football game and wanted a small lunch. Instead of driving the extra mile into South Bloomfield to hit one of the fast food chains, we decided to support the small business. The location is perfect small town America with the quiet street and the grain silos directly behind it. We all ordered milkshakes which were your typical soft serve milkshake fare, but like anywhere else were very good. We saw they sold their pizza for $2 a slice and all wanted a slice but were told that they were out of pizza. Whaat? We then settled for fries which were good, but took at least 15 minutes to arrive. All in all not bad, but if I'm in Ashville again, I'm driving over to the chains on 23 for the price, service, and convenience.
