Lokanta - Astoria

Amazing mezes, very tasteful and well prepared and presented. Served with fantastic crispy, fluffy chewing bread. The Entrees are also amazing, cannot go wrong.

The trip to Astoria is worth it! No fleet license yet, but there are BYO. Get the scallops and shrimps (Specials off the menu): two different dishes with seafood pan mered in a cast iron pan drop in butter, garlic, lemon and parsley. Lamb was tender and not excessively strong. We came for the manti drowned in sour cream. It wasn't my favorite, but that's subjective because I don't like so much manti. Absolutely here!

What a pleasant new amazement. Turkish foods presented very nice and uplifted when I expected. Staff very friendly, well lit room, clean tables. I wish they had lunch. We have two appetisers for lunch as the full meals were more than we wanted (or wanted to pay). I'd go back.

I came to dinner with seven people. The room is beautiful. We shared labne, cheese rolls, muharamma and Turkish salad to begin. Everything was wonderful. I had the Mediterranean bass special and enjoyed it. The shrimp caserole was amazing. The lamb and Okra were also great.

A restaurant that is increasing the level of the game for the mammoths of Astoria. This brand new restaurant with great interior design has healthy and flavorful dishes served by very friendly staff. I am so happy that the monopoly of the old but no more good restaurants is OVER!
