My only advice is to get a bottle of red wine against individual glasses! That's a mistake I made. I still recommend this restaurant to anyone who is Italian.
Never had it sad to see them go : does not look like a temporary closing
I love it! As a walk in, not waiting, not crowded, we felt comfortable with the distance to other tables. The food was excellent, delicious. I had the salmon my friend Bronzino had. Service was great, everyone was nice. Parking was a bit difficult, but this is expected due to the area. Temperature controls on the door that is good to see.
The best Italian restaurant in the NYC area. We loved it in the many years. 40 years. We will appreciate many great memories for years. I brought my children out of the state tonight to show them before they close.
Fabulous, classic Italian-American food. Great value. The food and service are outstanding. Great for our large group. Every dish from start to finish was superb. Bring your appetite, and your family, and your friends. One of the best Italian restaurants in New York — not trendy, not “instagrammable” — just great food well-served. A classic. Don’t miss it.
