Beers took a long time Food took a ridiculously long time 45) after ordering for 1 medium cheeseburger. All the people around us were also upset with food taking so long. We ordered a side of asparagus. It was 7.50 and it was literally four pieces and super overcooked. Daughters kids burger was a joke it was 2oz of meat on a bun, sides were good portion though that was our saving grace.
I had seen the signs for the restaurant several times while driving by Phipps and finally decided to try it. Quick summary is the the beer and service were good but the food was not well prepared cold fries, grilled sandwich that was burnt, etc.
Fantastic accommodating for our party it was a family reunion in which we needed a quieter table. They set us up perfectly away from the noisier bar area, it was an ideal place to gather and chat easy to have conversations and catch up. A bonus was the excellent food everyone loved their meal. Our server could not have been better she kept her smile and friendly demeanor despite some challenging requests. Bravo this will be our to go place when I come in town and gather family for a meal. Thanks Iron Hill your staff Rocks!
We knew this would be bar food, but we didn't think it would be bad bar food. I had the sesame chicken salad. They brought teriyaki chicken instead. Perhaps the chef doesn't know the difference. The wait staff was lethargic. The restaurant was loud. The floors were not clean. Would not go here again.
The wait time on a Saturday night was non existent. Walked right in and sat down with 8. Food was really good. The reason for the low score was the service. We sat down at 7:45 and didn’t even get asked for drinks until 25 minutes later. Then, didn’t get our drinks for another 20 minutes. Server came around twice the entire time we were there (there were maybe 15 people total eating in the brewery). They were very quick to bring the checks out. Guess they wanted everyone to leave hours before they close?
