The Public House At Vinings - Atlanta

Food was outstanding. If service matched this would be 5 Star venue. Too few servers for a Sunday morning brunch.

We understood that the restaurant was in a hotel, but overall getting seated was confusing. There was no hostess to seat us and eventually we were able to get a passing server to tell us to seat ourselves. I guess we also didn’t need our reservation? The server was not very personable (I believe she was new, so we were empathetic). We were unable to get explanations of sides (ie what is your cheesy corn side? No answer). We got the meatballs as an appetizer and those were delicious no issue. When we finally got the entrees, 3/4 meals were wrong. 2 in our party received a different entree than what they ordered, and it did not even have the sides on the plate listed on the menu. We were eventually told that the missing side was unavailable for the night (potatoes). I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came out well done. I sent it back with specific instructions and it came back again well done. At that point we decided we would go to another restaurant. We got passed from the server, to another server, to a supervisor and eventually a manager came over. The manager was the only person that showed any type of customer service. During this time, we never got asked for drink refills, no one ever topped our water and while we were trying to get status of our meals we basically could not get anyone to look at our table. We sat in the restaurant for over an hour leaving hungrier than we came. Overall I would not recommend this place not sure if we hit a night with all new employees, but it was not an enjoyable experience at all.

It took a long time for service to begin. Also, the food wasn't great. I was disappointed that the french toast was made with regular white bread vs. the challah bread that was listed on the menu.

Food came out cold and waitress was not good....the restaurant was not full and service was extremely slow!!!

The food was good, but not great, especially given the price point. The service was excellent our waiter, Scion, was wonderful, attentive, but not overbearing. It was a bit noisy, but good location.
