Kumeu River Wines - Auckland

Really surprised and impressed to find this jewel in Kumeu. My husband and I have been traveling and working with wineries over the last three and a half years, and we rarely had such an amazing experience on a cellar door. Their wines are beautiful all around, perhaps particularly attractive to our palates. We are a bit picky with our Pinots, but their Hawke's Bay Pinot Noir was beautiful, full and well balanced. We were also impressed by the price point, I would expect to pay more for hand-picked wine with such care. Thanks Fiona for answering our questions and for the great tasting.

Amazing and delicious selection of Chardonnay! We had a lot of time to learn the wines about them. Absolutely for every white wine lover.

Some of the best Chardonnay in NZ and indeed the world. The only vineyard of Mate is an unforgettable experience. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Really good wines, love the wine tastings and ambience. Very friendly and always a family member of the vineyard around which makes the experience that much more unique and nice. Easy to access off the main highway too.
