Every dish we ordered, from the appetizers to the entrees, was plentiful and full of flavor. The dessert selection was also impressive, and the honey cake is highly recommended. The coffee was the only thing that was lacking, but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was fantastic. Overall, a gem of a restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.
The restaurant offers flavorful, filling, and all homemade dishes that come highly recommended. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and very relaxed, making for an excellent dining experience. My teenager was impressed, as it was our first time trying Russian cuisine. We will definitely be trying another noodle dish from the menu on our next visit.
Having visited a number of Russian restaurants in Brooklyn, Chicago, and other cities, I can confidently say that this cozy place is the best I have been to during my time living in the USA. Everything is made from scratch, and you can really taste the attention to detail that goes into making each dish authentic. It will definitely bring back fond memories of your grandmother or mother's cooking. I highly recommend trying the Masha and the Bear dish when you visit or live in the area. I am already looking forward to returning and sampling more dishes from their menu!
My first attempt at Russian cuisine. I really loved eating. so tasteful and the place was very cozy. the Russian culture and eating are certainly underestimated. it should be recognized more. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Russian cuisine. I love the vibe!
We were visiting Denver came across this Russian cafe (family-owned). Omg! I am so happy we did! I am Russian the food tasted like my mom’s food (who cooks exceptionally well). We ate the following: Borsh (Russian cabbage beet soup) AMAZING! Very rich flavor. Enough meat. We got one large plate shared between people. Vareniki with potatoes meat pelmeni (dumplings) most Russian places buy them frozen, but this place makes them in-house. Truly handmade. You can taste the difference! Tefteli (meatballs) with mash potatoes tasted good but weren’t our favorite. Blini (Russian crepes) one with strawberry sauce one with sgushenka (condensed milk). Both are very delicious! However, I highly recommend trying the ones with strawberry sauce they are using fresh strawberries- it is homemade sauce (no preservatives, it is not a store-bought jam). Long story short it is a must-try places for anyone who likes Russian/Ukrainian/ Belarusian food.
