Green Pastures - Austin

We went for Saturday brunch. The milk punch packed a punch and the fried chicken eggs benedict was delicious. The fried green tomatoes with crab salad was a great light meal, but we added biscuits and bacon to round it out and all were delicious. It is out of the way but worth the trip!

Lovely ambiance, but food very overrated. Buttermilk biscuits dense, wild mushroom dish served lukewarm. Key lime tart excellent but not enough to inspire a return trip. Overpriced.

Beautiful place for a meal or wedding type event. We had a dinner meal in a Friday night. Reservations are encouraged. We didn’t have them and were seated quickly outside. It was amazing.The have huge peacocks on the grounds strolling around. The place is immaculate.Food was good and averaged about $45/pp wo alcohol.Plan to return. Recommended.

Lovely place. Even eating outdoors it was cool enough with the fans and mist. But only a few items on the menu for vegans or vegetarians
