Spicy Szechuan - Austin

The food was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly!

It is mediocre Chinese food. I think they just need better sauce, but a worker said that he was boiled. it is a scandal because the menu is great and the location is great.

Good food and fresh. many vegetable and vegetarian options on the menu that is always a plus! I would recommend going back here.

The management at this restaurant is awful. They required a $300 cash deposit for a birthday party we hosted there and then made one of our young guests stick his hand in the toilet to unlock it when it was clogged. To make matters worse, they initially refused to refund our deposit after the incident, but eventually gave it back after receiving complaints from our group. It seems like they specifically target college-aged students to take advantage of financially. Additionally, we paid $35 for unlimited drinks and food, but did not receive unlimited service. This experience was a complete disaster and I will never host another event or spend my money at this place again. The managers also made us feel uncomfortable by constantly staring at us while we ate.

I have eaten once in spicy szechuan, and once intended to dinate, but ended the order for the take-out. the food is good and in portions are excellent for the price (soup, eirolle and 1.5 people worth of entrée for $16). I ordered kung paohun. the meat was well cooked and the sweet is fresh and crispy. sauce is a little uninspiring, but was better than anything I can do. the staff is very pleasant when a bit quiet and shy. no problem. Now, for the reason I ordered, take them on a Friday the place was overflowing with unruly children there for unlimited reasons. all I saw showed a pass, but I'm not convinced they were all 21. the group brought a redner and played excessively loud club music, unless I was able to feed in the other room. they were rude for the staff. I ended up taking up and eating was still good, but I'm disappointed that the times were hard until they have such an unpleasant public to fulfill. overall, this place deserves better than the business he gets. decent food, decent service, decent prices. I will not create points for rude customers.
