Contribuisci feedbackI 've driven past this place for the past 22 years of my life and finally had it for the first. All I can say is, how the heck did no one get me to come here a lot sooner!!! They had an entire menu which can be overwhelming for anyone havingPho/Vietnamese food for the first time, but can honestly say anyone on that menu will be 100% delicious. They are a small mom &pop type of place, so if you are looking for a fancy meal this may not be for you. If you are looking for a delicious home mademeal, this is as close as you 'll get with authenticity.
Tan My is located in one of the tiniest strip malls ever, so head here early otherwise parking is definitely an issue. Not a ton of tables inside, and if you're at a table configuration for a larger group, you may be asked to shift around if your foodhasn't come out in order to accommodate larger parties. It's all a bit informal. If you see an empty spot, feel free to grab it.Or they'll help seat you. All soups come in two sizes: small and large. Just a heads up about the large... It's a pretty bigbowl. Their soups have good flavor the pho with the beef base and the rice noodle soups with chicken/pork/shrimp seem to havea chicken base. No mater the size, they don't skimp on portions. And all soups come with a plate of mung beans, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime wedges. Rolls are rolled right and have a delicious peanut sauce. Shrimp fried rice has a good wok firedtaste and loaded with shrimp. Stir fried noodles are equally yummy. And the best is the mix of 55b and 55c wide flat chunksof rice noodle deep fried so they look likely crispy chunks of tofu, with chicken, shrimp and beef with broccoli and a basilbrown sauce. This is a must try. Come hungry and come early. They take cards.

Wow I vote Tan My as the best pho in Austin! We also got the stir fry flat rice noodle and that was also so flavorful and amazing! Price for quality and quantity can?t be beat!
