I was very excited to try this place and will give them more than likely another shot, it is a really cool looking place and the staff were all super friendly and polite. ordered 6 breakfast burritos with speck for my employees and each one was a let off. I might have had 2 small pieces of speck in mine, 90% of the burrito was much under boiled kartoffeln aka hash browns that were hard and just tasted like it raw kartoffeln. Unfortunately, each of the 6 burritos was not good and at $12 a burrito, it was a very expensive and disappointing breakfast. to finish a positive note, the pumpkinpis latte was really good and will definitely go back, at least for that.
There's lots of room for improvement. You can't specialize in Brunch and then run out. They had run out of Cafe De Olla, Mimosa Flight, and pancakes by 11am the Saturday that we visited. My chilaquiles looked great but were cold. Abd don't get me started on the sauce being from a can. Sorry Cafe Cultura, I wanted to really love you too.
Service was great. The wait was slightly long but no complaints. They were busy. My boyfriend loved the breakfast torta, it has refried beans, spinach, avocado, egg, chorizo, and I think I'm missing something else. He asked for a side of salsa. They offered him red and green. He loved the red one with this dish. My breakfast burrito has egg, potato, bacon and cheese. The potato's in it are super soft. Super super yummy and flavorful. I would order it again The pastries were fresh, and soft. The chocolate croissant had a good ratio of bread and chocolate. It wasn't excessively dry. The ice tea is also really good.
Authentic !!! Taste like breakfast in a Hispanic families home. Very similar vibes as well. The food was all delicious, my favorite is the breakfast torta with red salsa on the side. It has chorizo, egg, beans, spinach, avocado, cheese on amazing soft bread that has a delightful crisp on the inside. Best torta on this side of Los Angeles! The ice tea is freshly brewed and the coffee is freshly roasted. By far my new favorite breakfast place, I highly recommend this cafe. The service was awesome even with a line out the door, my only regret is not trying this place sooner. If I had, this would already have been my go to breakfast spot.
Great breakfast lunch place and food is great and must try their coffees! Pancakes were delicious
